Upon graduating from Indiana University in 2010, Austin started as a Producer with Arthur J. Gallagher’s Non-Profit, Public Entity, & Higher Education Practice in their Corporate office just outside of Chicago.
Early on in his career, Austin demonstrated his ability to manage a broad range of responsibilities and performed above and beyond expectations. In 2013, Austin was recognized as the #1 producer in Gallagher’s Higher Education Practice.
In 2017, Austin and his wife Christina relocated to Hendersonville, TN (his wife’s hometown). At that time, Austin joined The Hartford, as a Senior Sales Representative, where he was responsible for the growth of the Nashville territory. In this role, he gained a deep understanding of industry practices, market conditions and carrier competitor information in the Nashville market. As a Sales Representative with The Hartford, Austin had an inside view of the strong agencies in town which is what led to his decision to join the Robins team in the Fall of 2021.
Austin is responsible for generating innovative growth strategies for a myriad of clients including Public & Private K-12 Schools, Colleges & Universities, Senior Living Communities, and Non-Profit entities. He advises his clients on the management of their business risks and aids them in recognizing the implications of market trends and industry specific regulatory environments. Austin continually strives to create unique insurance solutions to meet the distinct needs of all of his clients.
Austin is a Board Member for the Insurer’s of Nashville. He and his wife, Christina have two young children, Harper & Beckham, and a 13 year old Golden retriever, Cotton. When not in the office, you will most likely find Austin going on nice walks with his family, riding his beloved Peloton bike, or golfing. Welcome, Austin!
