Matthew Clements

Matthew joined the Robins team in March 2019. His passion for protecting the assets and livelihood of business owners has led him to specialize in protecting the hospitality industry, food/beverage manufacturing, distribution, commercial real estate, and outdoor recreation.

A Florida native, Matthew attended Florida Southern College where he received his undergraduate degree in Psychology and then his MBA. After moving to Nashville, he joined the Gordon Food Service team as a Customer Development Specialist, where he discovered his passion for taking care of Nashville’s hospitality industry. Matthew’s desire to understand the ins and outs of running a small business and provide even greater service led him to commercial insurance. He truly loves working with each client to build a customized risk management plan. Matthew considers himself more than just an insurance agent, but as a strategic partner and member of his clients’ team. He is always available and promises to be there to celebrate every win and support you through every loss.

When he’s not at the office or visiting clients, you will probably find Matthew fly fishing, bird hunting, grilling on his Traeger, or traveling. He is also a proud Executive Bourbon Steward, the world’s only industry-recognized bourbon certification through the Stave & Thief Society, similar to that of a wine Sommelier. He serves on the Young Professional Board of Folds of Honor Tennessee, is a member of Music City Quail Forever, The Joshua Chamberlain Society and BOMA Nashville. He and his wife Erin are members of Brentwood United Methodist Church.
