Van joined Robins Insurance in 2009. He began his career in Risk Management at Marsh McClennan Companies (MMC) in New York City. He primarily worked with large employers in the New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey area. Van maintains a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and serves on the board of the Emerging Leaders Committee for Keystone Insurers Group.
Van is the son of the agency’s founder, Bruce Robins, and grew up in Nashville. During summer breaks in high school he could be found at Robins Insurance answering the phones and doing clerical work. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Van has two young children and enjoys staying active in the community.
